SUMMARY:Sexual Assault Awareness Month
DESCRIPTION:We have made the first Tuesday of April in Montrose Colorado recognized as a sexual assault awareness  day of spreading sexual assault awareness & prevention education. We will be in Vista Charter & the Black Canyon at risk high school discussing sexual assault\, dating violence\, consent\, digital dating dangers\, how to find resources & how to support a survivor. We also put up Consent & No means NO banners across main street and around the middle and high schools. Our two medusa mannequins will be at high populated areas such as our recreation district and other gyms spreading awareness on rape myths. \nFor survivors during SAAM we are going to have fake tattoos made of Medusa and the Sexual Assault Emblem & also have a survivor who is now a traveling tattoo artist do a pop up for flash tattoos.
