My daughter came through the Dolphin House because of a tragic experience in January of 2021 and has been healing through art over the years. Since this experience happened to our daughter, we realized that healing from trauma is different for everyone, but the power of putting a pen, word, poem to paper, a crayon to a coloring book, photography, acrylic paint brushed onto a canvas are some of the most powerful ways to heal and empower oneself after trauma. Faultless believes that every survivor of sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking should be given the gift of art to help work through the process of healing. It is easy to assume that everyone has the means to a nice journal, markers, crayons, paints or canvas, but the dark reality is they don’t. With all that said, we have provided over 300 healing bundle of art supplies for all survivors that come through the Dolphin House since 2021.
